By Charles Paul LANDON, this collection features selected pieces from the painting and sculpture works exhibited at the Louvre on October 14, 1808. It includes new artistic productions, engraved illustrations, explanations of subjects, a general examination of the salon, and biographical notes on several artists who passed away since the last exhibition. Published in Paris by the author in 1808, in octavo format, cardboard binding (in its current condition), 150 pages (stitched in disorder), and 63 plates, some folding, with a few marginal verses. This is the second volume only.
