This is the original edition, one of 180 numbered copies on Crèvecoeur vellum, this being number 61. It includes unpublished texts by Chateaubriand, Claudel, Mauriac, Jammes, Colette, Gogol, Gide, Alain, Stephen Spender, J. & J. Tharaud, and Renaud Kast, featuring unpublished drawings and gouaches, including a watercolor by Bourdelle, gouache by Christian Bérard, and four drawings by Henri Matisse, Pierre Bonnard, Luc-Albert Moreau, and Albert Marquet. A pleasant copy.
