Das Shuckburgh Miniature Edition

The Gutenberg Bible is the first book produced by Johannes Gutenberg using his movable-type printing method. Of the estimated 180 copies printed, only 49 survive today, two of which are displayed at the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz.

This miniature edition reproduces the Shuckburgh copy of the Gutenberg Bible. Format: 52 x 80 mm. The binding, featuring gold tooling and gilt edges, is modelled after the late 18th-century binding of the original Bible.
