Christophe Jehan: Sculpture and Painting

Plywood panel, 30.2 x 18.2 x 1.9 cm, slight rubbing on one corner (see our photo), otherwise in excellent condition. Born in 1961, Christophe Jehan is a French artist. He studied architecture in Paris, later practicing in the Caribbean while painting in his spare time. Returning to France, he settled in the southwest and dedicated himself entirely to painting. His works follow a figurative approach, exploring a playful and vibrant universe. In his sculptures and paintings, he captures life scenes where characters spark the imagination. Each piece is given a name and a story, inspired by life's encounters. His colorful, animated canvases evoke deep joy. Jehan began exhibiting at markets before being discovered by a gallery that regularly showcases his works.
