Abbé C. MARTIN's 'Panorama des prédicateurs ou répertoire pour l'improvisation et la composition du sermon' (complete in 3 parts), Paris, Espinasse, ca. 1854. Large 37 x 28 cm. volumes in half-leather bindings with rubbed edges and worn corners. 250, 256 & 256 pp. respectively, featuring faint foxing and pale stains. The last 3 leaves of the table are damaged at the margins. A section of the second part (pp. 129–256) was printed twice and bound as a duplicate. Contents: 1) Advent Sundays, Epiphany Sundays, Lenten Stations, Easter Sundays; 2) Pentecost Sundays, Virgin Mary Mysteries, All Saints' Day; 3) Secondary Feasts of Our Lord and the Virgin, Panegyrics of principal saints, Occasional subjects, Retreats for men, First Communion retreat, Works.
