Treatise on Perspective for the use of Artists, where we demonstrate all the practices of this Science, & where we teach, according to the Method of Mr. le Clerc, to put all kinds of objects in perspective, their reverberation in the water, & their shadows, both in the sun and in the torch.

At Charles Antoine Jombert., in Paris 1750, full leather binding, brick edges, blunt corners, missing top cover, a scuff on a cover, a 5 cm crack. on a jaw, fresh interior, in 4° (20.5x26cm), VI & 240 pp. First edition illustrated with 110 plates (+ 15 duplicate plates), out of text illustrating respectively the lessons of perspective and 56 allegorical cul-de-lampe mid-page from Babel. The last 9 plates show the orders of architecture, divided into 116 mathematical lessons, applying as much to painting as to architecture or other discipline, each lesson being illustrated by a facing plate.
