This work aims to establish the first comprehensive monograph dedicated to the painter, reproducing over 270 of his works. Stella, a Lyonnais who gained recognition in Rome around 1623-1625, was patronized by the Grand Duke of Florence and later retained at the French court by Richelieu, receiving noteworthy honors from King Louis XIII and Anne of Austria. A very good copy. No shipments outside the European Union.
