Description
A rare collection of 12 fascicles (10 in the first series, 3 in the second) published by Les Laboratoires Carlier in 1938. Two volumes with continuous pagination (236 & 72 pp.), issued in loose sheets under paper covers (missing the cover of the first fascicle in the second series). Features black-and-white and color illustrations by Toulouse-Lautrec, Zyg Brunner, Dignimont, Charles Léandre, Mich, and Lucien Boucher. Includes poetry and songs from Le Chat Noir, shadow theater, sentimental chansons by Paul Delmet and Gabriel Montoya, as well as works by Jacques Ferny, Xavier Privas, and Marcel Legay, alongside cabaret memories from Chatnoir to Chien-Noir.
