Bibliography. « This tapestry is the tenth and last piece of a hanging whose cartoons had been copied by Francois Bonnemer, on a Brussels hanging kept in the Garde-Meuble de la Couronne. This was itself inspired by a large hanging delivered in 1535 to Francis I and representing the military exploits of Scipio. Eight tapestries are exhibited at the Louvre Museum, the other two are kept in the collections of the Mobilier national
