Rare set of 194 cards, (12 x 16 cm), black and white illustrations laminated & mounted on a cardboard support, (a few light foxing, a few small defects on the cardboard supports, more rarely on the image), circa 1890-1900: foals, mares and stallions…including a certain number of indications (not exhaustive each time) such as the name of the horse, its deposit, stud farm, stables, mares, the name of the father & mother, a short physical description of the animal, its breed, its year of birth, the name of the rider sometimes, or of the owner, trainer, driver, the prizes, sometimes won.. or its speed, its size.
